BRITBASE - British Chess Game Archive

Tournament: British Championship • Venue: Bournemouth • Dates: 8-19 June 1936 • Download PGN
(30 complete games, some part games, rest are stubs) • Updated: Sunday 11 February, 2024 7:19 PM

Note: the 1936 British Championship was played separately from the other events of the general congress (i.e. Major Open, British Ladies' Championship, etc). The Championship proper was played in June in Bournemouth, while the other events were played in August alongside the big Nottingham International Tournament. I have therefore brigaded games from the subsidiary events with the Nottingham file - click here.
